Local Construction
In December of 2007, Laramie City Council approved the final plat of the Jimmy Carter Subdivision, Habitat's newest housing development located south of Snowy Range Road on Colorado Avenue in Laramie, WY. As Colorado Avenue is a collector street, the City further limited driveway access from the Habitat proposed shared driveway to the private drive, as shown. The subdivision will house 11 qualifying low-income families in five twin-townhome structures and one single family home.
Habitat for Humanity would like to thank Coffey Engineering & Surveying for their assistance and support. Dave Coffey and John Galbreath have worked closely with Habitat on the design of the subdivision and on negotiations with the City of Laramie.
